Restrict internal calls

Post by grntelecom »

Hi
In our company we have a remote site with another PABX, i already configure trunk between our site and this remote site and i can make calls in both way
my problem is in this remote site there are some phones with the same extensions that we have in Alcatel OmniPCX, and i dont want to delete the phones that we have , how to configure our Alcatel in order to use the trunk instead of the local extension

Site A (Alcatel omniPCX entreprise): has extension 1000, 1001, 4000
Site B : has also extension 1000, 1001

How can i make call to 1000 in site B from 4000 site A and use the trunk, because actually when i call 1000 from 4000 site A, its ringing in 1000 of Site A ??

Dial TG seizure prefix (or ARS) + internal number.
from 4000 dial 1000 - call to site A user 1000
from 4000 dial TG seizure prefix+1000 - call to site B user 1000

Thank you VAD for your answer
Can we make call to 1000 in site B without prefix (our need), for exemple to put 4000 in site A in a group (or similar) which can call only 1000 of site B using trunk

In usual case - I think no.
The best solution - remove user 1000 from site A.
If user don't want to dial prefix+number - programm key on 4000 set (key with label 1000 where programmed nb TG prefix+1000).

Impossible , this will create conflict in the numbering plan , so the oxe will not allow to creat 1000 as network number or as local number .
the only solution is using prefixs
routing number , netwok n° and in this case u have to modifie a little bit the NP at site B or prefix for trkgp seize +NUMBER
