Strange..
you have a folder
"6250" with a subfolder "certified" on the stick and there are the images?

I dislike the "Warning: Disaster Recovery not enabled. Exiting!" message.

If everything fail use zmodem recovery as in https://service.esd.alcatel-lucent.com/ ... umber=6238

This is an alternative process that works for me (with OS6350 and OS6450), when the automatic "Disaster Recovery Using USB" fails.

1. Once in Miniboot, clean all /flash, this process remove directories /flash/working and /flash/certified, I do this to make sure there will not be corrupted files anymore:
  • Miniboot-> sysNewfs "/flash"

2. Then you can create the directories again (mkdir "working" and mkdir "certified") or just reboot your switch, and when you go back to Miniboot you will see them again (just list your files with ll command) but with no files inside (ll "certified")

3. Now, execute this command that disable the automatic "Disaster Recovery Using USB".
  • Miniboot-> sysUsbSetAdminState

4. Insert your USB with the images files (K*.img). The system will mount your USB in the directory /uflash. Then go to the directory where your files are:
  • Miniboot-> cd “/uflash/6250/certified“

5. Copy images files to /flash/certified:
  • Miniboot-> cp “K*img“,“/flash/certified/“

6- After you get the prompt back, give:
  • Miniboot-> DoImageRollback
That's all folks.
