Different users using one machine

Hello!
I'm new to the page and happy to be here! We recently replaced our Unify HP4000 with an OXE and we're happy so far! Being so to the system, I hope you'll forgive any dumb questions!

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to fix one issue we have with out IP Desktop Softphones. We're using them for our internal callcenter as their only device. Each machine has the IP Desktop Softphone installed. The agents are sharing machines from time to time, meaning Agent 1 will log-off and Agent 2 will log-on on a given machine.
Agent 2 will not be able to register the Softphone because it's already bound to a mac adresss in OmniVista. We manually unbound the mac adress and then register the phone on the same phone number as before.

Is there a way to avoid this? Having the phone stay registered regardless of user would be what we'd hope to have.

Hi,
During the installation of the Softphone, did you select proacd mode or business mode?
My guess is that you select business mode.
