This document describes the flash of the boards and CPUs of the 4400 and give information about
the download of the firmware of items like the FBC (Alcatel 4048) and the HE set (Alcatel 4040). All
the boards of the 4400 that may be flashed and all the CPUs are described. Further editions of this
document will include the new boards.
The list of the reproms is given. The PDI board and the reproms are ordered at the factory.
The minimum hardware recommended by PSO is:
− the PDI board,
− the common reprom 3BA 50088 AA which is used to flash most of the boards,
− the reprom 3BA 54011 AE used to flash the CPU3 step2,
− the reprom 3BA 20032 AA used to flash the CPU5 step1,
from tc 255 flash
