Search for firmware or other for IP TOUCH 4068

Hi, I have an IP TOUCH 4068, with the fw NOE 3.91.40. I would like to use it with the Fritzbox, so in SIP. I have read a lot of things on this forum, some very old and honestly I am lost! It seems that there are modified fw (but they are nowhere to be found) that allow operation in SIP mode. Does anyone have such files? I would be enormously grateful!

Well... first of, you are going to need a TFTP server and/or OXE and/or OXO. Do you have any of this before you try anything like that?

First of all you should check whether you have 4068EE - only that one works in dual stack mode (more flash memory on board).

Is there really no way to make 4068 work with an Asterisk or a FritzBox in SIP mode? Should I put it in the trash ...? Thanks again

There is no way to run SIP on your 4068 so you're right about trash.

Yes, i have a TFTP Server.... i programmed with success NEC DT700 and DT 800 to reverse from NECSIP to StandardSIP.
