Stacking two OS6560-P48X4 - Error creating chassis-group

Post by isbrenday2k »

Hi,

I am trying to stack two OS6560-P48X4 but figured out that I am unable to change the default chassis-group which [ 0 ]. I have tried checking documentation how to do this but the only solution I could see keeps giving me error. Below is the output of the error.

-> virtual-chassis chassis-id 1 chassis-group 11
ERROR: Chassis group must be consistent on all switches. Configure the same chassis group as the master switch [0]

->

Can I get solution to resolve this?

Thank you for swift feedback in advance.

Hi Silvio,

Thank you so much for the support. I can now see where I got it wrong.

virtual-chassis chassis-group 11

and not

virtual-chassis chassis-id 1 chassis-group 11
