The Switch put the Phones in the correct VLAN:

sw-keller-haus63a-> show unp user
User
Port Username Mac address IP Vlan Profile Type Status
-------+--------------------+-----------------+---------------+----+--------------------------------+------------+-----------
1/1/7 48:7a:55:13:a8:6b 48:7a:55:13:a8:6b 192.168.41.110 14 VOICE_CLIENTS Bridge Active
1/1/16 00:90:33:51:80:4e 00:90:33:51:80:4e - 14 VOICE_CLIENTS Bridge Active

But there is no communication possible.

sw-keller-haus63a-> show vlan members port 1/1/16
vlan type status
--------+-----------+---------------
1 default forwarding
14 unpUntag forwarding

sw-keller-haus63a-> show vlan members port 1/1/16
vlan type status
--------+-----------+---------------
1 default forwarding
11 unpUntag forwarding
14 unpQtag forwarding

I Thing the problem is the missing mobile function in the switch. But is there an work around?

I deactive the unp function and with lldp-med the vlan assignment works.
Than I will wait for the next release and try unp again...

not tested it yet with the websmart switches. But with your config for lldp you need at the voice profiles the mobile-tag enabled.

Hello,

I'm replying to this forum because I'm trying to get the LLDP MED to work with an OS6360. Here is my LLDP configuration:

lldp network-policy 1 application voice vlan 2 l2-priority 5 dscp 46
lldp port 1/1/28 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/29 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/30 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/31 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/32 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/33 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/34 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/35 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/36 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/37 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/38 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/39 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/40 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/41 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/42 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/43 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/44 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/45 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/46 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/47 med network-policy 1
lldp port 1/1/48 med network-policy 1

My voice vlan is 2. My ports are in default port in vlan 10 and tag in vlan 2. Do I need to add something in the LLDP configuration so that the station assigns itself vlan 2 automatically?
Thank you in advance for your answers,

Hello all,

I'm also trying to assign vlan through lldp but failing.

OS2260 after reset and only apply this configuration

vlan 1 name default
vlan 3 name voip
vlan 4 name others
vlan 3 members port 1/1/1 tagged
vlan 4 members port 1/1/1 tagged
lldp network-policy 1 application voice vlan 3
lldp network-policy 1 application voice-signaling vlan 3
lldp port 1/1/2-24 med network-policy 1
lldp nearest-bridge port 1/1/2-24 tlv med network-policy enable
lldp nearest-bridge port 1/1/2-24 tlv med capability enable
unp profile voip
unp profile data
unp profile voip map vlan 3
unp profile data map vlan 4
unp port-template datatemplate default-profile data classification admin-state enable
unp port 1/1/2-24 port-type bridge
unp port 1/1/2-24 port-template datatemplate
unp classification lldp med-endpoint ip-phone profile1 voip

vlan 1 is management
vlan 2 is for voip phones and receives ip addresses from range 192.168.50.0/24
vlan 3 is for computers and receives ip addresses from range 192.168.51.0/24

So after the configuration is done and port 1 is connected to the router that is also the dhcp server then from ports 2 of the switch we connect an ip phone and it correctly gets an ip address from 192.168.50.0/24 which is correct. Then we connect a computer at port 6 and it gets correctly from 192.168.51.0/24. All works correctly. The ports numbers are random ranging from 1/1/2-1/1/24

But after that if i remove the ip phone from its connected port and connect it again on the same or any other port from the range 1/1/2-1/1/24 it will never again take ip address from the 192.168.50.0/24 range it will always take from 192.168.51.0/24

I need to reset the switch and reconfigure to assing the ip address but only for the first connection.

What could be the cause?

Thank you

I know that there are limitations with the cheapest omniswitch OS2260 and UNP - but not sure about the lldp classification.
But with your config the phone will send tagged packets within vlan 3. In switches with AOS R8 you need to allow mobile-tag at the unp profile. But this is not supported in the 2260/2360.
In the KB of ALE I find the same question and the same config like in your example. So you should open a ticket at ALE.
What are the results of "show unp user" "show unp user details" and "show vlan members port 1/1/x" in case of the issue?
