format the hard disk 4400 CPU 7

Welcome . I want to format the hard disk of the telephone exchange (4400 cpu 6), how can I do that? Are you using Linux? Which version. What is the comand used. Thanks

For what reason? Security - you want to delete all information (just put HDD in extenal box and connect to PC)? For new installation?
