AP1301 Radius

Post by itayal »

Hello,

I would like to have some information about the AP 1301 with version 4.0.4.3066.

Is it compatible with EAP-TLS? I couldn't find any information in the manufacturer's documentation regarding this.

I would like to set up authentication through a RADIUS server (NPS) so that users can authenticate on the Wi-Fi using their AD (Windows) accounts. Do you have any experience with this?

I tried to set it up and configured the RADIUS server on the SSID by filling in all the fields (AuthServer, AuthPort, AuthSecret, Nas Identifier, Radius Accounting, Acct Server, AcctPort, AcctSecret), as well as the Called-Station-ID found in Authentication Configuration > RADIUS Setting.

However, in the NPS server logs, I'm getting error code 49, which typically indicates invalid credentials or authentication failure.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

All stellar ap can use EAP-TLS.
The error codes at the NPS are not clear in a lot of cases. Often I have seen that the Radius-client shared key is to long. Try it with an easy one.
