Quoting new 4059IP
Does anyone have experience with this? I can't download the R8.0 docmentation to understand how this all works, and I am confused how to configure this in Actis.
I understand there is a new USB MMK keyboard, but when I add the licenses I don't see any keyboard. If I select the Alcatel solution, Actis configures an entire PC, with XP pro with the USB keyboard. I don't need to buy a pc, I only need the licenses and the USB keyboard.
There is also an option to use attendant soft phone. This would be ideal, but does this require my phone server, or does the attendant soft phone connect directly to the OXE?
Thanks,

Re: Quoting new 4059IP
You need just the PC, the OPS and the Keyboard.
The A4059 will be linked to a normal Phone (for my test environment an A4038).
This phone is a normal phone when the attendant is OOS / Night Mode.
If you put the attendant in service, the phone shows "Operator in Service" and is now controlled by the A4059 application only.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know how to configure in Actis to get just the keyboard without the PC? I don't want to buy the PC from Alcatel.
Thanks.
Thanks.

No. I don't use ACTIS.torrentula wrote:Thanks for the reply. Do you know how to configure in Actis to get just the keyboard without the PC? I don't want to buy the PC from Alcatel.

Hi. In ACTIS: Application/Attendants (after 4760 option)---> there you will see the PC...click over PC-01 (or over the PC you want to unselect) and choose None (I don´t know if it is the exact word, I use ACTIS in Spanish).torrentula wrote:Thanks for the reply. Thanks for the TC. Tincho, I tried changing the PC-01 to none and Actis locked up on me.

Re: Quoting new 4059IP
When I change it to none, the OK option is greyed out and I can only go back to offers. When I go back to offers, I get this error:
'Impossible de focaliser une fenetre desactivee ou invisible'
