Any way to test in trial-mode OmniVista?

Post by stich86 »

Hi guys,

i want to test OmniVista to see what it can do, but I don't find any way to make a trial.
Looks like only the OmniVista 10 (that is Cloud) seems to have a trial.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Hi,
To my knowledge OV2500 is still free up to 10 devices of each type.
You can download and install OV2500 from the ALE BP and request a free license from your ALE representative.
You'll be able to use 10 APs, 10 Switches and 10 3rd party devices in it.

What do you mean for each device of same type?

For instance, if I have a 6560P48 and a P24 is considered same type or not?

Thanks

There are 3 types (categories): APs, switches, and 3rd party.
As far as I know, the free license has 10 of each!
