IP Desktop Softphone_network connection and audio transmission cannot be restored

Using IP Desktop Softphone version 12.1.3 we experienced network connection and audio transmission cannot be restored after a network (LAN, VPN) failure.

What can be done to restore the lost functionalities?

what happens after the connection is restored?

just try using a newer version
