4635 Upgrade

Gents in a couple of days I shall be upgrading a 4400 site to OXE. As part of this I will be swapping a CPU 3 for CPU 7 and a VPS35 for VPU6.

I am a complete novice to 4635 VM and I just want to know what are the pitfalls/things to watch out for etc. when swapping out the VM cards etc.

THe upgrade tech docs for 4400 to OXE barely mention the VM and while I have the system docs for 4635 what I am looking for is the things that you need to watch out for that aren't always in the docs.

Any guidance is appreciated

do you know what the current version of 4635 is?

The main and most important thing, if you don't want to lose greetings and messages is to do a backup of the VM before you start anything.
