Hi,
Does someone have been trouble with the /etc/fstab file changing the boot device from Hard Disk to DVD ROM device?
I had to change manually my fstab to force the system to boot on hard disk.
Is this something related to the duplicate mode on OXE or just a mandrake bug (maybe both lol)?
/etc/fstab file corrupted

Is your system secured? Have you played with linux on it or installed some software?
Re: /etc/fstab file corrupted
I think there is no CD/DVD device even mentioned in OXE' sources.
Never seen any trouble with fstab since Linux releases started.
Collegues are right - it has been humen intervention.

Re: /etc/fstab file corrupted
I've seen this pb on OXE release 7.0.
I don't think it's a human intervention as there is no direct access to the server and no modem connected to.
I was forced to do it twice as the duplication duplicate the file. It's not the first time I've got some others pb with the IBM appliance like ethernet port broken at delivery, etc.
Thanks for your reply.
