no ringing on 4029 Set

Post by Mcfly »

Hello guys,
several customers complain that theire 4029 Sets not ringing anymore. (only accoustic, Display OK)
When i do an "hard" reset (not via termstat) ...the set will ring ?!
when i change two sets among each other, the problem occurs on the same set.

But i think its only in R.6.2

Anybody knows the issue, like the problem with the first 4020 series (one-way communication)

Contact Alcatel-Lucent for analysis with Reference and Serial numbers of the sets.

With hard(ware) reset i mean plugout/plugin the set several times. simplistic, but it works!
When i put the Set to 255 and back, i have the same problem that there is no ringtone. (Display/LED shows that a call is present, like normal state).
Even so when i Delete and create that user.

...so i can say that it is not a feature :)
