Dear all,
I have a strange problem with a DECT installation : We had 29 DECT IBS station and we just have created a new one. But, this one doesn’t work with the others (no roaming) ; It’s correctly recognized by the system (message « IBS in service » in MTCL) and it blinks intermittently like the others. But, it’s impossible to connect to it, except if i start a phone in its covering area.
- This station is the only one connect on a UA8 card.
- The IBS station works well if i connect it to the equipment of an other card.
Is there anybody who already has encountered such a problem ?

I think it's a synchronization problem with this base.
There is a command to check the synchro.
dectview syncibs
It shows you the synchronized groups.
But it doesn't help you because you already know that there is a problem...
What generates the master clock?
Please post the results of dectinfo 3 , infocs and dectview ibs
Did you tried to replace the new IBS with another
or replace another old working with the new IBS?

Just to explain the configuration, the company is divided into three geographics sites (MG n°1 -> MG n°5, MG n°6 – MG n°7, MG n°8), linked by an optic fiber. The IBS which is not working is the only one connect on MG5.
- The new IBS works when you connect it to replace an old IBS.
- If you connect an old IBS to the equipment of the new IBS, it doesn’t work.

Can you send us a config all?
Is eMG 5 an own eMG with a GD or behind a MEX card?
If an own eMG you have no chance.
It's not possible to have handover between eMGs connected via IP.

Looks like you base broken (f.e. radio part).
Change or repair your base.
In my practis was the case when the base works from PBX point of view but was problem with radio part - not possible to register Mobile handset and so on. (In our case was defect from factory - wrong capacitor nearby with oscillator).

- The new IBS works when you connect it to replace an old IBS.
- If you connect an old IBS to the equipment of the new IBS, it doesn’t work.

In this case you have problem with roaming. Check with TC0274 some rules about domain (overlapping covering area and rule about synchro). Becouse as I understand you have IP between crystal 5 and another BS (crystal 3,4,7,8).
