COCPU's and COCPU@'s

Im uprgading one site cpu2 to expand the voip users to 34, this will mean i have to install a cocpu.

Can i utilze an old cpu-1/2/3 to use as a cocpu and place the addtional voip card and slanx card ?
Or will i have purchase a new cocpu 2 ?

I also have a few spare cocpu@, can they be used or are the only for cpu "e"'s ?

The reason i ask this as i know that cpu's can be used as GD boards on a OXE, so by changing the dipswitches i wondered if this could be used for other cpu applications.

Hi,

I have successfully used CoCPU@'s, CPU-1 etc as a CoCPU, it is just a simple case of setting the card switches correctly.

For CoCPU, you need to set the switch 2 into the 'off' position, all other switches 'on'.
