Sorry to pickup this old thread, but question here is the same.

Customer wants MOH for internal users, my collegues here in my office keep telling me "it may be possible, but i don't know how". So I called our tekkies in central office, who say "yes it works, we tell you if the customer pays for it". Well, he doesn't want to pay because installation kept somehow going wrong all the time but he wants that feature.

Any chance on getting this info? I read through the TCs and finally found something in the noteworthy adresses:
TonPrRng - In the case of preannouncement, allows the caller to be sent the ringing tone or music if the called party is free. (0A Ringing tone (default), 17 Music)
changed it to 17 but nothing happened.
Then I found in the OMC but not in the description the point "Music on Hold" which is 0 by default, changed to 1 and again nothing happened. Internal users only get notification tone.
We're using newest Release (7.023) here.

Thanks for your help!

Could you create a hunt group or use a unused virtual / analogue, set up a preannouncement with a preannouncment,

and then transfer the call to the target, it gets the preannouncement and you use the transfer failure timer to get call back or a pickup key.

Is messy as hell but Think it might solve your hiccup.
