AA drops calls for phone sets that are fowarded externally

My assumption was the call was not leaving the PCX that's why I was asking you to check the COS, but your call is going out but you get the q931 error 'destination out of order'.

This is a working number, but the span to the destination is not active or there is a problem sending
messages to this destination.

Can you do any trunk to trunk transfer? If you dial into a user, can that user transfer the call to an external number if their COS allows it?

yes.
If a I call a user from a external line, they can then transfer me to a external line. Also, if that internal user sets their phone to fwd to an external number and I dial their DID directly, I am correctly Fwded.

Yes, that's was my question. So the trunk to trunks are working all but from 4645.

Just on a whim I would say a software bug, but that may not be a very educated guess.

I say this because I have had more problems with the 4645 than all other problems on the OXE combined.

What release are you running?

Update.
I found a temp workaround.
If I create a global speed dial for the external number then set the phone to Immed Fwd to the speed dial number, it works. Teh issue with this solution is that the end user can not add or change their external fwd number as I have to create it for them..

I'm glad you found a work around. I've had to do the same depending on the system release.

Normally creating a user and forwarding it externally does the trick.
