4635 IMAP server - time zone is incorrect - how to adjust?

Post by TheCleaner_DUP »

If I telnet to port 143 on the 4635 I get:
* OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4REV1 AUTH=LOGIN AUTH=PLAIN] VPx35 IMAP4rev1 at Fri, 1 May 2009 13:36:04 -0600 (GMT+6)
However, that's incorrect. Current timezone here is GMT -5. So what happens is a voicemail sent to Outlook will look like this in the message headers:

(10.10.10.8) with Microsoft SMTP Server id 8.1.336.0; Thu, 30 Apr 2009 15:01:05 -0500
Date: Thu, 30 Apr 2009 14:49:00 -0600

With the first(blue) line being the Exchange server with the right time, and the second being the timestamp from the IMAP server.

So a user gets a voicemail and it gets adjusted forward 1 hour incorrectly (the voicemail will be left at 2:45pm and the timestamp in Outlook will show 3:45pm because it tries to adjust it forward to -0500).

How can I adjust the timezone to the correct one in IMAP?

TC 0920 gives details about TZ settings in 4635.
If you do not have it just send PM.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
