Hi

Does anyone have a usefull instll guide for the fax server, I have the admin guide and user guide and this shows server setup but it does not show any OXE setup, so if anyone has a guide which desricbes both OXE and Fax server setup it would be appreciated

We can't post any Alcatel documentation, but in the BPWS you can search for the TC1096

many thanks for that, I have my fax server working now, all it was i was using port 5060 in my external gateway, changed it to 5061 and away it went

How did you get it going? I have Red hat 5.2 and Release 6 of the fax server, i've tried installing 100 times without success. My installation fails when it says starting services.

Is there a specific Red Hat packages required or ones that should not be selected when installing the fax server?

I was having a problem with the install getting an error '134' when starting services at the end. It turned out to be a faulty copy of RHEL5U2 from Alcatel. Downloaded a new version from redhat (same version) and installed - all OK

When installing the Redhat you must turn off the firewall and SElinux during the install process

These being active can stop FAX services from starting up.
