MADA3

I am trying to find out exactly what MADA3 stands for. I know it is a compression board used for VOIP calls, conference, depending on configuration, but what does the Acronym stand for?

I have done some research on this topic and I have found 2 answers to my question. I have a document that states the MADA = Multi Application Digital Auxiliary.

I also found that MADA = Media Adapter Daughter Assembly.

If anyone can clarify that either of these, or both, (from earlier versions?), are correct, I would appreciate it.

MADA (Multi Application Digital Auxiliary) is the right one.
