Wintarrif vs OmniPCX

Hi All,

I have installed omini PCX Office few years back. At the moment i am facing some problems with the extensions.At times some extensions is kind of locked out. When i lift up the handset(mostly anlog ext) it give gives me engaging tone. I can dial o or make internal calls but cant make outside calls. So what i do, i look for spare anlog port to use. Has anybody came across those kind of problem?

It happens last year that the customer cannot receive incoming calls which leads me to do a cold start on the system.This resets all the settings and configuration anbd fixes all the lock extension and incoming calls problems.

At the moment the lock extension is coming back and i am runningn out of spare anlog ports.

I really need help..please can somebody help me>....

I wish also to install wintarrif as call accounting software but i have no idea if this can work wityh this system..the supplier for wintarrif is telling me that i needed to have a system phone - which had a module in it-the smdr than comes out as RS232c..Have anybody done this before..i amy not understand the term here...

Hi..

I am not sure abt ur analog extension problem..but regarding the wintariff u can give them a output via serial port (RS232)...we have v24 adapter in OXO for metering u have to connect the adapter behind the digital extension and u can configure the ports in the counting...

Hi, have you checked that the extn is not padlocked? also if you put a new extn on the faulty port dose that one work?

Some times i have had the same problema with blocking analog extensions. The cause is that customers dial the blok/unblock code accidentally. Check it, may be it's your problem.

yes i have checked but when i press the unlock codes,still it didnt unlock the extensions.

Have you checked the licences for analog extensions? what version of OXO you working with?
