Expiring Extended Absence Greeting

Post by jbower »

I had a user ask if it was possible to set a start and end time to an extended absence greeting. I said I would check into it. I listened to mailbox options but did not find a way to do this. If anyone Knows how to set this up it would be great. Oh yeah i am using a 4635 VM. If not it should be recommended to Alcatel since this is common on other systems. Thanks for your input.

Not possible. User has to access the menu and enable the extended absence and then to cancel it.

Thanks. I did not think it could but thought I would throw it out there to see if I just was being stupid and missed it all along. I think Alcatel should consider making this an option. It is standard for many other vm systems including many cell phones. It is something people have gotten accustom to. Any way we can submit idea to R& D?
