pcscopy don't proceed

Hello friends,

When I try to copy db from CS TO PCS there is the following message:

PCS IP Address ? 192.168.92.238
.......
PCS Database Update => End NOK: Copy on PCS failed

And there are the following incidents:

What's the size of the Backup and the connection bandwidth and how long does it take?
Maybe it's an timeout issue.
Can you connect to the 192.168.92.238 and login normally?

i don´t think that this is a classic timout or bandwith Problem.
Passiv Communication Server are "kind of special" in many ways :rolleyes:
The most important things for pcscopy are:

• 1. No Port blocking from Firewalls
• 2. your hosttable entrys in /etc/hosts

The PCS Name which is given in mgr -> Passiv Communication Server -> ... needs to be listed in /etc/hosts (by using netadmin -m).
pcscopy uses Name resolution, so that the copy process cancels after a while always at the same point.
Your hosttables on the pcs and on the pabx must be correct!

Thanks for the ideas. I made installation of DB manually, but this don't don't give me automation of PCS update and I'll try with host names. It is the same with different DB sizes and different bandwith (256kb/s-10Mb)

under netadmin -m option 9 host table on the PCS enter the IP of the main CS what name you give it doesn't matter just ensure it is listed in the host table. you need to do this for each PCS. Also make sure you have created an empty db and telephony is running on the PCS
