Can someone tell me the procedure for recording a greeting for the Auto Attendant in OTUC?

AA in OTUC uses TTS, so you'll have to record new guides and create a new language package in order to do what you are intending, if have not found any document where indicates that you can use a WAV or VOX file.

Maybe in version 4? Not sure.

Humm checking my AA i found a Play Message option, however not verys ure what it does, can't find anything on my docs on how to use that option. I'll have to ask to Alcatel about it or you can do it too.

Chapter #10 of OTUC docs explains how to manage AA and there is some info on wav file management.
I use Peter's XML editor (freeware) to edit AA XML.
As for recording wav files I have found that easiest way and best quality you can achieve is:

1. Leave voicemail in you mailbox.
2. Detach and download wav file to your PC.
3. Open the file with sound editor (i use GoldWave) and save it 8-bit Mono, Mu-law for USA.
4. Transfer file to OTUC.

Hope it helps,

Thanks much
