GD error - BATMODE testing
A new installation R9 OXE. After powering up and with PC V24 plugged in GD Config position, the GD cards displays certain information and then displays "You may enter BIOS mode by pressing CTRL-B Now!" Hereafter I repeatedly get the following error message " BATMODE testing". This keeps on running and I cannot input anything. I can however communicate with CS at this stage. Please note that the LAN light on the GD2 does not flash at all but on the CS2 card, UNIT1 and UNIT2 are ON. My connections are between the GD LAN to CS Unit1 and between LAN1 on CS2 to Unit2. Thank you. South Africa.

Solution
Thank you all for the suggestions. Correct; the UNIT1 and UNIT2 are for the SlanX whereby Module1 and module2 are for the MEX's. I omitted posting the most important error with regards to this fault; notably that the power light on the GD was burning orange and not green; this means that the GD was not receiving power (and explains the error message "BATMODE testing".). We removed the internal power supply to check for any fuses blown and upon re-assembling, we intentionally left the back plate off. When powering up, the green light on the GD2 came on and the system came on line. So it would appear that I have some intermittent problem with the seating (or something similar) of the power supply.
