7705 SAR upgrade

Hi,

I just received this 7705 SAR and I'm trying to upgrdae the software to 3.0

It will not get the primary image off my filezilla server
keeps erroring out

Is there away to ftp or tftp to the compact flash and
then I could just boot from local?

hi,
give the error detail which come out. . .
are you failed to boot ?

maybe,you may manually copy to compact flash via card reader . and don't forget to do same with csm b.

Hi!
I tried to upgrade firmware to R3 but was unsuccessful, now it doesn’t boot up correctly. I have tried to restore settings but it keeps giving me TiMOS image load failed. It keeps booting up into the page below.
HELP???????

it's caused you are failed to config "primary-image cf3:\"
choose one this solution :
1. when booting it'll appear "Hit a key within 1 second to change boot parms"
just hit and config primary-image with "cf3:/7705-TiMOS-3.0.R3" depend on what version that you had
it should boot corectly

2. open the CPM module, get CF card and use the ordinary card reader to read the CF
you will see file bof.cfg ,edit with notepad and
it should like this:

primary-config       cf3:/config.cfg
persist              on
autonegotiate
duplex               full
speed                100
wait                 3

the location "primary-image" is depend on the version what you had ,you can identify at folder TiMOS that's being in directory cf
if u had TiMOS-3.0.R3 then the folder 7705-TiMOS-3.0.R3 at cf3 should exist
