Disaster recovery scenarios

Post by wizzy »

I have two act-28 in my main site with CPU 7 running on R6.0.1-f1.603-1-j-gr-c7.

This main site is going to be seperated in two buildings the next year, so I have to seperate my installation.

Where I say B1 is the first building where my installation is now and B2 is the second building.

The two buildings are going to be connected with a fiber line.

Data about B1
----------------

All the public provider lines installed
150 telemarketing agents using CT connect

What I want to have is :

My twin CPU on B1
My main CPU on B2

This is for disaster recovery and also for easier management.

Any solutions will be helpful

Thank you in advance

Try to be more specific about what you want and about the configuration (users) per site (B1 and B2). Try to read the documantation about topologies. There you can find how to build redundancy configurations.

With ACT hardware you cannot separate CPU in two location. For building 2 you can - make second node (network), or change CPU from CPU7 to appliance server.

If you change CPU6 to AS, sync. in the system should be re-configured. Please refer to technical document R7.0 on System Synchronization.
