what if you change the extension to say .txt? we use that at work to get around the firewall

yes it is the ip adress of the ip int of the vlan .

switch running mu routing send queries to respective vlan.

enble mu querier for each vlan on the switch running mu routing protocol

Soory everybody, especiallyCedric, have been very busy with other issues, especially work. I have a design from an Alcatel suppoprt person using enterprise mode which should do what I want as soon as get a chance to test it. In teh mean time I have been progressing with the setup I started with. I now need to mark malticast traffic witha DSCP value before it enters teh 6850's I am using. I have tried to use QoS policies on the 6800s to no avail.

Does anyone know how to mark a specific DSCP value on multicast traffic using the 6800?

qos rule should work
