4400 compact auto attendant

Hi

Have a 4400 compact using GPA2 card for auto attendant. When I dial in remotely to try and change the ext number on one of the options I get the error - object 1 leaf number operation not allowed OAI is validated. Can anyone help?

Hi. Every time you have to modify attendant, you have to stop it. I believe you are using mgr, before Donwload Hierchary, do Consult/modify, you will find there the first option to stop IAA. Regards.

i faced the same situation...first you have to stop the IAA and if it lets you change then u dont have problem.....but if it doesnt you have to delete the hole tree and created again.

so the steps are

turn off the iaa,
delete the AA access,
delete leaf,
delete tree


and to create it again

create access
create tree
create leaf
turn on IAA
done!:)

Hi. After stoping the IAA, and if you want to chenge a leaf opcion and this one is attached to a tree, do the following. Go to the tree and put an other leaf. Modify the leafe. Then come back to the tree and configure the correct leafe. This way you will not need to delete any tree or leafe. It is not necessary. Regards.

Thanks. I have tried what you said. I now have an error object 1 action 2 leave put in an OAI tree - delete not possible. Am I missing something else.

inside the leaf the 2nd action probably is an other leaf..so doesnt let you to delete it..you have to change it with other leaf and replace it with a new one or delete everything and re create it from scratch!

Hello Again

I have added a new leaf but when I try to put leaf 1 to other leaf (4) instead of 3 I get the message object 1 action 2 leave put in oai tree delete impossible. Do you have instructions for changing a message as I could put Leaf 4 as my first leaf on the tree and this would solve the problem. I get the error leave put in a oai tree delete impossible when I try to delete a leaf.

I set up a new leaf (4) and set this as the first leaf on the tree and it seems to work ok.
I didn't need to delete anything. They may want to re-record the message but I can't find instructions for this. Do you have any or can you remember?
