Relation between "t3" and "traced" monitoring tools.

Post by johnsontiam »

Dear fellow AlcatelUnleasher,

I have a question regarding SIP calls using ISDN trunk.
as we now, when we call using SIP device, we can view the traffic with "traced"
command, while "t3" for ISDN trunk.
What if i make an outgoing call via ISDN trunk using SIP device (e.g. X-Lite),
we have both "traced" and "t3" monitoring tools activate at the same time.
The question is:
do alcatel have some kind of mapping from and to "traced" & "t3" trace?
a home made documentation would be great.

For example:
The Contact info no.7 = 08179232234
The result in CCPulse is Dial error (at genesys real-time monitoring tool)
The result from Telco to PABX is TEMPORARY FAILURE (see in alcatel T3 log attached)
The PABX SIP message result is service unavailable (see in Alcatel SIP message log
attached) which map as dial error in the call result.

I'm welcome to any advice or suggestion.
Please do advice.
Many Thank's

Best Regards,
Johnson
