Is there a SIMPLE call trace?

Post by pronei »

I can run a trace on a call, however I get WAY more data than I care to see. I've not yet found a way to do a simple trace for the following scenarios:

1. Incoming PSTN to DID
The only results I want to see are the DID that was called, the Calling Number and
show the set is actually ringing.

2. Internal to Internal
Only want to see Phone A called Phone B

3. Set to PSTN
Only want to see originating number and dialed #

Anyone help with this?

1. mtracer -a "calling number"

Keep in mind that the external number could be sent without a digit in front (ex: ext nb 012345678 could be sent by telco like 12345678)

2., 3. trcterm d "mcdu"
trcterm stop

(to see as little as possible maybe try: trcterm d "mcdu" | grep "mcdu")
