I'm trying to access the configuration files you are mentioning, but with no luck.

Can you help me, please?

Thanks in advance,

The config files should be created by yourself and stored on the tftp server you will use to deploy the phone(s).

Take a look at the following document: IPTouchSIPphonesinstallation.pdf

Am I correct assuming I must capture binary files from a working OmniPCX? Those named bin4018, datesip4018 and noesip4018? Some advice?

Thanks for your time!

Unless you cannot set your phone in SIP mode, you do not need an OXE. The files should be supplied with your Alcatel-Lucent reseller. These files can be put on the same tftpd server...

Again... follow the link: A-V2.01.10.7z

The bin4018 is not necessary...

Reinoud wrote:I succeeded to get the phone to work! I activated the netlog option, and installed a syslog server. It seems that there were two parameters missing (one without value, and one completely missing). I added these parameters and it started to download and flash the phone. After that it came into service!

I´m getting also Invalid parameters after downloading sipconfig-MACADRESS.txt. I would be happy if you can send me or post your valid sipconfig-macadress.txt. I can´t find the mistake. I can´t activate netlog option on phone (pressing ok don´t work :-/)so it´s no possible to look with syslog server what´s wrong. I tried to find it out with wireshark what the problem is. But it returns only Bad Checksum ... so it´s not possible to debug :-(

Ok! I would love to help, but cannot until next week. I wil send you my config file. However, bad checksum sounds like something else is wrong!

I got the netlog Information finally, so here is the syslog. I think there is something wrong with the hostname, which is given in the Alcatel Dokumentation as noe_sip. But I tried also the Asterisk domainname and username.

So the device (4008) is still reseting ...

MM-P,

I have attached my version of sipconfig
sipconfig-00809F8Df3E7.txt
. Have a look, it could be that there's an option missing in your file.

Let me know if it works!

Thank you for your file, but it´s sth. other. Maybe it have sth. to do because there is SIP Version 1.0.30.
I´m getting still "Invalid Parameter"

Code: Select all

User.Emerg	10.0.0.201	 00:00:00 000-00:00:51.240 DEFENCE: reset__: [108] sip_invalid_stand_params (859 tskinit.c)
User.Notice	10.0.0.201	 00:00:00 000-00:00:48.240 INIT   : appui_set_init_screen :Invalid Parameters !
User.Error	10.0.0.201	 00:00:00 000-00:00:48.230 INIT   : Checking Mandantory Parameter: supported_lang Invalid !
User.Info	10.0.0.201	 00:00:00 000-00:00:48.230 INIT   : Checking Mandantory Parameter: Begin
sipconfig.txt
sipconfig-00809F87C731.txt
I can´t find the invalid parameters. I´ve attached the files. I´ve configured Asterisk in the following way:
sip.conf

Code: Select all

[general]
  context=default
  bindport=5060
  bindaddr=10.0.0.100
  srvlookup=yes
  allow=alaw
  allow=ulaw
  allow=g729
  allow=gsm
  allow=slinear
  language=de

Code: Select all

 [35]
  callerid=Office <35>
  defaultip=10.0.0.201
  domain=10.0.0.100
  user=35
  secret=
  type=friend
  mailbox=35
  nat=yes
  canreinvite=yes
  context=default
extension.conf

Code: Select all

[local]
  exten=_3X,1,NoCDR()
  exten=_3X,n,Dial,SIP/${EXTEN}|55|Ttr
The Xlite softphones are working with the configuration. So the mistage is i think on the Alcatel-Lucent 4008.

I found in an document that the parameters:
language=0 and bluetooh_parameter=blue have to be set in sipconfig.txt
... but still the same problem :-/
In the log it gives error on: Checking Mandantory Parameter: supported_lang Invalid
.. so I tried as parameter supported_lang and lang ... but still same problem :-/

I'm terribly sorry, but I think I gave you the wrong file. I checked, and this
sipconfig-00809F8Df3E7.txt
should be the correct file.

I think that what I added was:
bluetooth_parameters=blue
supported_language=0

And then it worked!
