Omni sound 4135

Post by mabrgron »

Anyone using these conference sets
we had them installed and they cannot make international calls unless you specify the exact amount of digits..

due to the nature of our business we call all over the world and we would need to input every country code and in some cases down to the city.

That would require extensive programming anyone else have this issue

the 4038 sets have no issues just the 4135

thanks

4038 is a native set. 4135 connects to OXE as s SIP extension.
SIP does not support "digit-by-digit" dialling  and it would never do. Get used to "very open and flexible protocol":D.
It is just like using your mobile phone - 1st your dial a full number then press "Send" button. Every time.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

I know how to dial using these units
And I have dialled the number then hit the send button but it doesn’t work.

If we set up international called digits to be 16 then I can call a 16 digit international call but cannot dial a 14 digits or 18 digits call.

You could try a # after the number?? I beleive this is configured somewhere to indicate you are finished dialing?

How is your default sip trunkgroup setup? If you don't fill in a number compatible you have to fill in the max number of digest to send. If this not corespondent with the number you are dialing you getting troubles like you described.

Hi mabrgron,

How did you solve the issue of "digit by digit" dialing on 4135?

I'm facing same issue right now...
