Archive ETL db to an external drive
Archive ETL db to an external drive
Does anyone know if it is possible to archive the ETL db to an external drive as the current ETL db is too big and will very soon use up all the hardrive space on the D: drive?

Ask your hardware guys...that is not a Genesys task. No idea which backup software you might be using.

Re: Archive ETL db to an external drive
Better say which version of MSSQL are you using...MSSQL is the DB engine, poweroff, uninstall Genesys and that engine will be there still. Genesys has nothing to do.
So now, I'd ask a DB support guy how to move over network, maybe create a Network Unit on the server pointing to the shared folder and then select that unit on the MSSQL manager.
