SIP CALLED IDENTIFICATION ON DISPLAY

Hello.

We have a cliente with IP TOUCH 4xx8 EE as SIP Extensions users.

The thing is that when the user "A" call to a user "B", the caller "A " did not see the name extension of the user "B" on the display, just can see the number dialed. Of course, the user "B" can see the name of the user who is calling him.

The client wants that the Caller "A", can see the the name who he is calling too.

I guess that will be only possible if the IPTouch has some Phone Book...

Is this on OXE? SIP extension or device?
In SIP trace is the name and number information sent by the remote party?

Hello tot3nkopf , It is an OXE the 4xx8 EE are configured as SIP Extension.

I have not seen the trace, I will executed it and let you know the results.

I did the trace (motortrace 3) and I could see the name of both name users asociated to and extension number but still the user "A" just see the extension number at the display and cannot see the name.

I assume you are using the NOE SIP Mode. If so, can you post the content of the sipconfis-MAC.txt of that Extension A and B.

Yes, I am using SIP MODE.
I attached a sipconfig-@.txt file. The only different between the files is, of course, the user number and the name.

Hi,
I don't know if the Extension in SIP MOde has Phone facilities category, but if it has, you should try to enable this parameter for example if the extension is in category: 0 go to, mgr/categories/phone facilities categories/cat:0, go down to this option, Calling name display (CNIP/I-CNAM) : 0, chage it to "1" and make some tests.
