No room mailbox wanted in hotel mode

Hi all

A client has just installed the PMS interface to Micros Opera. Also, a VoIP8 board has been added, so I reinstalled R6.10/007.002 to get all requiered software packages installed.

For the record, in this new version of OHL and R6.1 it is requiered to have IP metering active to make OHL work. The license was already active. No more V.24! All metering tickets are received via OHL on the SAME TCP/IP port from OHL, so another type of metering software is needed to have all calls with proper costing.

In this hotel, no room mailbox is requiered, but some administrative sets do. After the upgrade I'm getting all room sets with mailbox after check-in, no matter if I delete them in any room state.

Some old docs mention that I should do a cold reset, and then on the wizard in the MMC (Reflexes Advanced) set some "No mailbox" property for ALL the sets.

My guess is that after restoring the backup configuration, I'm not going to have ANY mailbox, so I'll just have to create new mailboxes on the requiered administrative sets. Am I right?

But given the age of these docs, I'm just wondering if is there some "new method" to set this "no mailbox after check-in" somewhere... noteworthy addresses or such.

Any ideas?

Hi libexec,

there is now other way to deactivate the mailboxes for guest extension. Even in R8 you have to deaktivate all mailboxes in the Install-Wizard, restore the database and activate the mailbox for admin-sets.....
