Hi to all,
i've an OXE R9.1 I160516c FR version .
I've made a local sip trunk group : my softphone xlite is working well and i can call an analog phone on the pbx for instance.
i've made a second sip trunk group (RNIS all countries) to connect to an external gateway.
i 've done the ARS to route the call to the external gateway and include the number in.
all the routing is going well but , the external gateway asks to register, the oxe sends the username and password and the gateway get a "403 wrong login or password".
When i try to configure directly the softphone xlite to the provider with the domain, user and pass, it works perfectly.
Did i put the username and password in the external gateway not at the right place ?
here are the parameters:
remote domain: XXXX.net
registration id: "username"
registration timer: 3600
trunk group number : 11 (this is the RNIS SIP TG)
outgoing realm: XXXX.net
outgoing username: "username"
outgoing password: "password"
RFC 3325 :True
DNS type: DNS A
first DNS : 212.x.x.x
second: 212.x.x.x.
SDP : false
minimal authent method : none
all parameters to the end are set to false.
i've taken a wireshark trace with the two methods (connect the softphone directly to the provider or connect the softphone through the oxe); the traces and quite the same , i mean in the INVITE, i can't see differences. in one case, the gateway returns invalid login or password !!!!
if you have any ideas , it would be great cause a lot of hours spending on this issue ...
thanks a lot
ps: rename attachments in .pcap to open them in wireshark

Re: Can't make an external call through a sip provider
Change "Registration ID in P-Asserted" option in Ext. Gateway config to opposite and check.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

There's no way !
i changed this parameter on my oxe's side, and it doesn't work: same issue...
Do you want more logs or what ever ?
thanks

Re: Can't make an external call through a sip provider
Hello,
It looks like an identification problem because the "from" field when the softphone calls via OXE is (\"raf\" <sip:172.20.4.211>;tag=ac1f2adcc8ef08d27928319bbac3da55) but the provider is waiting to the user ID (0951670026) like when the softphone calls directly (\"raf\"<sip:0951670026@freephonie.net>;tag=7a8fa529).
You will probably have to configure an NPD in order to put the user ID before the domain, it works like with an ISDN line (but im not so sure of this part).
Regards!
