Facing Problem in Alcatel OXE interface with Opera

Post by vsharma72 »

Hi All
I have installed one Alcatel Omni PCX Enterprise system at One of my Client ( Hotel ) In Jallandhar...Punjab ...India. Client was earlier using Alcatel 4400 with OPERA PMS on v24 link. Now Client has purchased a new system Alcatel Omni PCX enterprise Common Hardware with Hotel String on TCP/IP LAN. and asked OPERA People to configure there interface on TCP/IP.But OPERA people refused to do that giving a reason that OPERA can not be configured on TCP/IP(not Supporting TCP/IP//LAN).Only V24 interface is supported. We have delievered the OXE Release 9.1 . Can sombody suggest how to interface that on LAN/TCP/IP... Or only we have to convert the LAN Interface to V24 Interface by using Moxa Box.

Thanks & Regards

Configure AHL on V24 port of Moxa Box, OXE sees as a V24 link.

X10D [extend] application from SourceTech solves this problem. You can even connect several hotel applications, Opera / Fidelio, to one OXE using it if you like...
-: I also have a UDP joke, but you might not get it :-
