iscsi and 6850

I need to config an os 6850 48 ports,realese sw 6.3.1.871, for 2 server running vmware esx and netapp storage fas2020 with iscsi. I create a vlan 6 only for iscsi. I need to send some special command to switch for this vlan 6 like spanning tree or QoS ? Is it better to upgrade software before send the new config?

It is better to me with last code.
you have nothing special to do, it should work a iscsi is native ip.
