I think a debate here would be more interesting. Not only for MyIC phone with OpenTouch platform, but on the OpenTouch platform itself.

I will open this by saying that from my point of view the platform is not ready for corporate market. The way in which networking and redundancy features are implemented at the moment makes OpenTouch not a very attractive solution for this segment. I was rather surprised that no action was taken to replace the SIP engine itself on OXE, in order to offer IMS service routing capabilities.
For SMB I think OpenTouch is ok at the moment.

For MyIC Phone I don't know what to say, but it is the general trend of the market at the moment to move towards SIP endpoints with XML capabilities for connecting to external applications. Decoupling this from OXE looks a little bit strange.
