Scheduler not working (LOGON NOT DEFINED)

Post by frank »

Hi All,

I am trying to run a stupid report using the scheduler, and to export it. The 4760 gives me an error message saying LOGON NOT DEFINED. Anyone had that one before ? I can run a schedule. I can export a report manually by email or to a file, but if I try to do it using the scheduler, it won't let me do it..

Any help appreciated..

Thank you

O.k, so you need to set the logon (windows account) for the server itself + there are some more parameters that need to be set.

in the servers area in the tech dir, for the execdex server you need to set the NT account (PC) that is used so the 4760 can act as part of the server to exctract emails.

There is a document that covers it all, I will send it to you Frank

:wink:

FIXED !

If you ever have this problem, here is the solution:

For the EXTRACTOR and EXECDEX, in the NT tab put as login name:

COMPUTER_NAME\LOGIN NAME (the login used for windows)

hi sirs,

i have the same problem.
i manage a omnivista 4760, ver 1.5.08.00, on a PC(as a server) win2000 pro.
i usually export configuration and accountig reports using the scheduler.
For planning and exporting of configuration reports (users, free numbers, etc), all is OK!
however, in the case of accounting reports, i can schedule the job ( exporting to a file), and then the report is created, but not exported, so i have to export it manually.
the following error log line is shown:
[03/10/2005 01:46:36 PM] Target: No user logon defined: cannot start printing or mailing external process

i've followed your posts, i've tried to find the NT tab, but it doesn't appear!!
directory-->technical-->nmc-->omnivista-->servers-->execdex-->it shows just 'GENERAL' tab.
directory-->technical-->nmc-->omnivista-->servers-->extractor-->it shows just 'GENERAL' tab.

what omnivista version do you use?? i know that my version isn't new, but i think the 4760 woudn't be the problem.
could you please to help me?

regards.
