Connected the OmniTouch 8082 externally without VPN

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has tried to connect the OmniTouch 8082 to the OXE/8770 externally? The OXE is running R10 so it doesn't have the built-in SBC. I'm guessing that we will need the integrated SBC for this to work due o the fact the 8770 will be handing out a config file that points to the OXE's internal IP address rather tan the external.
Any suggestion or feedback would be appreciated.

Expose your servers (at your own risk) or deploy a SBC server.

But, are you running 8082 in business or hotel mode?

The 8082's are running in hotel mode. Think we're going towards the VPN option to be honest.
