P-Asserted-Identity in INVITE over a trunk SIP

Post by ferjosu »

Hi,
my PABX has a trunk SIP against a Cisco Unified Call Manager, but I have a trouble with the Caller identification (CLID) in the calls originated from the Oxe, when te called number is a number that belongs to de CUCM.

When i use the command "traced", I see that my OXE doesn´t send the P-Asserted-ID field in the INVITE, or, if my Oxe sends the P-Asserted-ID field, it is empty.

For example, a call without P-Asserted-ID:

Wed Oct 10 11:17:40 2012 SEND MESSAGE TO NETWORK (10.18.14.202:5060 [UDP]) (BUFF LEN = 938)

How can I configurate the Oxe to send the P-Asserted-Identity?, I need to send the same information in the FROM field and in the P-Asserted-Identity field.

Thanks!!!

Did you restart SIP motor after changing Ext. Gateway parameters (killall sipmotor)?
Did you configure in SIP Ext Gateway Registration ID in P_Asserted + True?
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Hi!
The configuration was "Registration ID in P_Asserted + True", but It didn´t work.
I changed the configuration to "False", and I restarted SIP motor.

And now, it works!!!,
Now, the P-Asserted-Identity filed is in the INVITE over the trunk SIP.

Thank you very much!
