Search/call box doesn't show in taskbar on win7

Hello Friends,

Search/call box doesnot appear in the task bar for MYIC, when floating search/call box is un-checked. Onseeing on taskbar properties -->tool bar cannot see the "My Instant Communicator" Option. Tried un-installing and re-installing the software but didn't help. With Floating option check able to get search/call box and software is working fine.

Any clue how to get My Instant communicator option in toolbar for win7? can only see "address, Links, Desktop, Tablet PC option". Don't know which file to point if new toolbar to be created.

Log in as user.
Goto C:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\alcatel\
delete or move the MPC directory
relaunch the application it will reset itself to default options.

solution that worked for me is by removing the administrative rights.

rightclick myinstant communicator -->select properties-->Click on compatibility -->
1) Uncheck Disable desktop composition (By default this will be enabled)

2) Unchecked privilege level runs this as an administrator

3) Click on change settings for all users --> then it worked
