Loss of NW Connection

Hi Can the forum please help me.

I have a department with some 30 Windows PC's connected to a 6850 switch.

The manager of the department has informed me at night the Pc's seem to lose connection to the Network.

Can you tell me in which log on the switch I need to investigate and are there any keywords I am searching for that may explain why the PC’s seem to be losing network connection?
