dtmf with some numbers but not others?

I have this problem at one of my sites when a user calls an a bank the dtmf works but when they call different number with automated prompts it doesnt work. I dont know what to do about this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

? Are they activating the MultiFrecuency button?
What if you dial from an analog extension?

There are no multifrequency buttons. There using IP phones If I use a prefix to seize an analog trunk it works. If I call my bank or my voicemail it works if a call a different number like 18004944000 which answers after one ring. Even if I try to so dtmf suffix it doesnt work.

I'll check your Trunk config and the way you are dialing.
Is it A trunk seizure with Overlapping or not?

What do you mean by it does not work ?
Can you hear the tones ?

How fast does the called party pick up.
Do you wait for your display on the phone to change before you start the DTMF ?
