Hi everyone,
I have just installed a OXE with 4645 VM, the customer is using all 4034 and 4035 handsets.
I have noticed that when you use any phone and listen to dial tone, 4645 system prompts etc.. the handsfree volume is good, but when you listen to a callers message, it is a lot quieter and you have to turn the volume right up. I have tested by calling locally and speaking straight into the mic - still the same!
Is there a value I can change somewhere to fix this or is it time I launched an eSR?
4645 volume level for messages

Thanks for replying Tot3nkopf,
But can you tell me:
1) What set type you tested with?
2) Did you use handsfree?
Anyway - it doesn't seem to be a big problem and only 1 lady has complained (out of 150 users). She now uses the handset instead of handsfree and she says that is better than handsfree. She uses a 4034 set on Common hardware. But I agree with her, the volume of the caller that leaves a voicemail message on 4645 is definately lower when using handsfree. Caller volume during normal conversation on T2 with 4034 set in handsfree is good.
I guess if I request a eSR with Alcatel, they will tell me to use a 8/9 series set.
