Ip v6

Post by bigmac »

I cannot find any info on IPV6 and OXE....this is coming up more from customers does anyone have the inside track on this. Has anyone deployed on IPv6 even in a lab? I even managed to see/glance a roadmap but no mention on IP v6.......

Shouldn't be a problem.
Parameter "IP/IP parameters/IP Address Type" is been for a long time there and in docs it is pretty strahtforward. Also It is Linux who cares about IP layer. Another question arises - it's tough times for Mandriva now, they trying to sell it - look at Mandriva for sale. Depends how ALU gets support from them.
And yes - never heard about IPv6 realization with OXE.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

I've heard that IPv6 will be released next year in different steps. Today's IPv6 readyness depends on customer infrastructure (OXE,OTMS,OV8779,Fax Services, Encryption, Contact Center and further more).
